New arrival

Just wanted to say hello to all on this BBS.

I've only just found this site, registered, etc. and am looking forward to reading and posting here.

I guess (I might be wrong) that like most people on here I am very new to film-making but I've always had the desire to make films... "one day". Well enough of just sitting and dreaming! The "one day" starts now! smile

I have no clue where to start confused

I am thinking of buying that Rodriguez's book (Rebel without a crew...). Do you have any other tips / suggestions? Or may be even live projects (and need some help)? confused

The rebel without a crew book is excellent but should be purchased with the dvd version so that rodriquez can talk you through the whole film !

Try looking thru all the past posts and get a feel for the forum(also saves you from repeating any topic that has gone before)
Apart from that all i can say is that they are a friendly bunch in here and no question will seem too stupid so dont be afraid to ask. You normally get a reply within hours so you dont have too much torment waiting.

I would say the great thing about this forum is that so many people are interested in making films but if you are the only one in your circle of friends it can feel like a lonely persuit and that is waht this forum is all about.....bringing like-minded people together..
so join in and in the imortal words of forum member (little rich ) KEEP FOCUSED....
